Nashoba Valley Medical Center appoints interim head as president

Korry Dow, the interim president of Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer since August, has been named to the post permanently, the hospital said Friday.
Dow was the hospital's CFO when she was appointed to replace Sal Perla, who resigned last summer to become the president of Norwood Hospital. Dow has been with the hospital for more than a decade.
Dow began her career as a Medicare auditor for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Boston and later worked as a reimbursement analyst at Boston Medical Center and as a senior accountant at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She has an MBA in accounting from Fitchburg State University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley College in Waltham.
Nashoba Valley Medical Center is part of the for-profit Steward Health Care in Boston.
