Worcester Legal Community To Honor Its Own
A Worcester judge and two attorneys are slated to be honored tomorrow by the Massachusetts Bar Association at a special event at the DCU Center.
Worcester Superior Court Judge Peter W. Agnes Jr., Worcester attorney James G. Reardon, who died in 1999, and Worcester attorney Shirley A. Doyle will each be honored with the MBA's Centennial Award, which celebrates members of the bar and their service to the profession and to the community.
Agnes was appointed to the Superior Court in 2000 and served as a judge in district court for 10 years.
Reardon practiced law for more than 40 years, much of which was spent in practice with his now-deceased brother Edward, at Reardon & Reardon.
Dolye has run her own law office for two decades and was a former president of the Worcester County Bar Association.
