Movers & Shakers

Westborough-based mortgage firm ClearPoint Funding Inc. hired SHARON BITZ and COREY MOORE as division managers. Bitz is vice president and division manager of the newly formed Western Pacific division. Moore is vice president and division manager of the central division, overseeing business in the Gulf states through the upper Midwest.

PHILIP GOTTLIEB was elected president of Clinton Hospital’s medical staff. He is medical director of the hospital’s geriatric medical psychiatry unit, and previously served as vice president of the medical staff. Gottlieb is a member of UMass Memorial Medical Group and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. 

Worcester-based Durable Technologies promoted MATT MARTIN to director of sales and marketing. Martin started with the company as a sales representative and rose to branch sales manager. A resident of Millbury, he is a graduate of Framingham State University.

COLETTE R. WHITBY was hired by Harrington Physician Services in Southbridge. She specializes in general surgery. Whitby earned her medical degree from Brown University in Providence. 

Spencer Savings Bank promoted RANDAL WEBBER, LYNNE ESPOSITO and DOUGLAS SCHMELING. Webber, who was senior vice president and senior credit officer, was promoted to senior vice president and senior loan officer. Esposito was promoted to vice president of mortgage origination. She was the assistant vice president of lending. Schmeling was promoted to assistant vice president and credit officer from his previous position as a credit officer. Webber and Schmeling are from Auburn; Esposito is a Spencer resident.

DAVID FAYARD of Worcester has joined Long Subaru in Webster as a sales consultant. A resident of Worcester, he previously worked for Saturn. 

TERRY HAMMERLE was hired by Mayfield Plastics in Sutton as a quality assurance manager. She is a veteran of the United States Navy, where she worked in nuclear quality assurance. Hammerle lives in Milford.

Worcester-based Seder & Chandler LLP hired attorneys HOWARD B. D’AMICO, ERIN M. CLAYWELL, MARTIN J. SAULEN and AYHAM BAHNASSI. D’Amico is a graduate of Boston College and earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in London. He lives in Douglas. Claywell is a graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. A resident of Charlestown, she earned her law degree from Boston University. Saulen earned a bachelor’s from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and a graduate degree from New England School of Law. He lives in Worcester. Bahnassi, of Shrewsbury, graduated from Brandeis University in Waltham. His law degree is from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Dune Medical Devices of Framingham has named ROGER BLANCHETTE as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was formerly executive vice president and CFO at Cadent, Inc.
