U.S. New Homes Sales Rise In November
Sales of new single-family houses rose 1.6 percent in November, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The number of homes sold was 315,000, compared to the revised October figure of 310,000 and up 9.8 percent from a year ago.
The median sale price was $214,000 and the average was $242,900. There were 158,000 new homes for sale at the end of November, about a six-month supply.
