Vanguard's Mullany Leaving Mass.
Joseph Mullany, president of the New England and Chicago Markets of Vanguard Health Systems, which operates Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick, is headed to Detroit to run a hospital system the company recently acquired.
Mullany, who has worked in Massachusetts since 2005, will be the new president of Detroit Medical Center, which includes eight hospitals, an ambulatory network and an accountable care organization.
