Marlborough Firm Gets Last Of $5M Funding Round

Copiun Inc., a Marlborough-based startup that lets mobile workers share corporate documents securely, says it has received the last portion of a $5 million Series A funding round.
The round was led by Maryland-based venture capital firm Novak Biddle Venture Partners and also included RRE Ventures of New York and local angel investors. Copiun received the most recent payment after meeting all required performance milestones. The firm said that, in 2011, it expanded its customer base and revenue tenfold while creating new partnerships and adding new products.
Copiun was founded in 2008. It says its products are now used by more than 200 customers.
