After weeks of rising prices at the pumps, gasoline prices fell an average of four cents per gallon of self-serve unleaded regular, according to AAA Southern New England.
The new price, $3.85, is still nine cents higher than it was a month ago and three cents above last year. The current price is also the same as the national average.
