TerraTherm, a specialty environmental remediation company formerly headquartered in Fitchburg, has relocated to the Summit Industrial Park in nearby Gardner, according to the company that manages the property.
TerraTherm is leasing 67,200 square feet in the park, located on Suffolk Lane. The company moved its headquarters, manufacturing and research and development operations to the new site in early May, according to Hackman Capital, which manages the property in conjunction with Hudson-based Calare Properties and in association with KBS Real Estate Investment Trust.
TerraTherm, which offers its services worldwide, develops and implements "in situ" and onsite thermal remediation. The methods use heat to kill unwanted organic chemicals present in soil, eliminating the need for excavation.
