As last week's rejection in Milford of a proposed resort casino showed, the expansion of gambling in Massachusetts is proving to be a tough sell in many Bay State communities. While the 2011 casino law authorizes up to four facilities in the state – including one slots parlor, for which Leominster is in the running – it gives the Massachusetts Gaming Commission the leeway to award less than four, or none at all. So, our Flash Poll question for this week is:
How many casinos and slots parlors should Massachusetts allow to open under the 2011 gambling expansion law?
