With marijuana now legal in Colorado and Washington state, Massachusetts lawmakers are being nudged to make the Bay State a legitimate marijuana marketplace. Colorado is expected to bring in nearly $100 million in tax revenue, far exceeding expectations, because the drug is now legal there, according to Reuters. "The sky has not fallen in Colorado," Richard Evans, a Northampton attorney, told a legislative committee last week, State House News Service reported. Evans said violent crime and property crimes are down in Denver, for example. Medical marijuana is already legal here, but should the state go all the way?
