An executive with JetBlue struck a positive tone last week before the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce when she said the airline is committed to flying out of Worcester. Joanna Geraghty, vice president for customer experience, also suggested that Worcester Regional Airport would benefit from having more carriers. That would lead to more traffic. She also urged the business community to push for improvements at the airport, notably for a landing system that can allow greater use of the fog-prone site. JetBlue has flown more than 100,000 passengers into and out of Worcester since launching service last year. Is it the start of something bigger? Please vote in this week's Flash Poll.
How much more annual passenger traffic (beyond 100,000) do you think Worcester Regional Airport will generate over the next three years?
