SPORTS SAFETY
Bay State Savings Bank of Worcester funded pre-concussion testing for 173 Worcester Junior Sharks Youth Hockey players. The testing was done in two different locations, including at Auburn-Webster Elks Lodge in Auburn. The Elks donated use of the space.
HOOP HOSPITALITY
Marlborough Savings Bank employees and members of the Boys & Girls Club of MetroWest in Marlborough engaged in a friendly game of basketball. The bank is a longtime sponsor of the Boys & Girls Club basketball league.

- Provo Financial Services Inc. of Shrewsbury raised $3,525 for the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk last fall to support clinical trials and cancer research and care at the UMass Medical School's Cancer Center of Excellence.
- People's United Bank, with offices in Central Massachuetts, awarded $129,500 to Massachusetts nonprofits, including Oak Hill Community Development Corp. in Worcester ($10,000) and Community Harvest Project in Grafton ($5,000).
- Hudson-based Murphy Insurance Agency volunteered to be a Toys for Tots drop-off site.
