Seven months into office, Gov. Charlie Baker has seen approval and favorability ratings in the neighborhood of 70 percent. He has governed in a manner that has generally been favorable to business, while also taking positions popular with the Democratic-dominated legislature, such as the first increase in the Earned Income Tax Credit in 20 years. He also highlighted a record $11.5 million budget allocation to a summer jobs program, which is benefiting about 4,000 Bay State teenagers. And he moved quickly to close a budget gap estimated at $765 million that he inherited when he took office. So, how do you think Baker is doing? Please vote and comment.
