Career highlights: Organizing an annual Small Business and Entrepreneurs award ceremony, as well as an annual Women In Action symposium. Also, an annual back-to-school drive, in which kids and their parents are introduced to after-school options and given backpacks and school supplies.

Community involvement: Chair, Worcester County Commission on the Status of Women; chair, Advisory Committee on the Status of Women for the city of Worcester; member of board of directors, RCAP Solutions; member, Citywide Parent Planning Advisory Council; host, The Positive Impact Show on Flava 105.5 FM in Worcester.

Ultimate career goal: To have WIA Inc. become a national women’s support group where all women learn to take care of themselves and learn what their goals and aspirations are.

Non-relative you admire most: Karen Koller, president and CEO of RCAP Solutions. She stands for Integrity, strength and confidence, exhibits humility and has a willingness to learn.

Hidden talents: I can really sing.
