Fallon Health names new CFO

Worcester healthcare insurer and provider Fallon Health on Monday named a new chief financial officer with more than 20 years of experience in the health insurance industry.
Wilbraham resident Kevin Grozio will serve as the organization's next senior vice president and CFO, Fallon said in a press release Monday morning.
Grozio is currently Fallon’s vice president of underwriting and actuarial services. He was an active member of the organization’s finance leadership team.
Before joining Fallon, he served as vice president of actuarial services for ConnectiCare, Inc. & Affiliates, where he led the rate review process and rating factor studies. He worked closely with vendors and brought his actuarial expertise to negotiations.
Before that role, he served as an actuarial analyst at United HealthCare.
According to Fallon, Grozio is an associate in the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and possesses the Qualifications Standards of the American Academy of Actuaries to Render Statements of Actuarial Opinion.
Fallon’s new CFO graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in business administration in actuarial science from the University of Hartford.
