Leasing has begun for the new $90-million luxury apartment development on Front Street in Worcester, according to the property manager.

Malden-based Roseland Residential Trust announced Thursday leasing has begun for the new residential development at 145 Front St., a key component of the $565-million City Square project seeking to bring more than 22 million square feet of new development to the heart of Worcester.

The building features 365 homes, 10,000-square-feet of first-floor retail space and other amenities including a dog run, resort-style pool, sundeck, courtyard, fire pits, grills, TV, bocce ball, fitness center, a clubroom, and an onsite concierge.

Roseland said it designed the apartments with an open floor plan, and apartments range in size from 500 to 1,250 square feet.

Construction on the building broke ground in June 2016.

Also slated for the project is Protein House, a health-food chain restaurant, spa services and skin-care product provider Elizabeth Grady and a Fidelity Bank branch.

Roseland is marketing the site as the landing spot for workers joining the city’s advanced manufacturing, IT, biotech and healthcare workforce.

"At 145 Front at City Square, we've changed what can be expected from a luxury community in Worcester by incorporating aesthetically pleasing features and chic finishes that elevate the city living experience," said Andrew Marshall, president and executive vice president of development at Roseland. "We're excited for the community to come to life as we begin welcoming our first residents."
