Worcester, with its past history of traditional manufacturing, is a natural fit to become the biomanufacturing hub of MA.

With LabCentral, UMass VDC, Nest Bio, BioSquare, Alexandria hosting several companies, The Broad Institute, Draper Labs, and the locations of Vertex, Biogen, Ironwood, Pfizer, Sanofi, Shire, Merck and others being in Boston or Cambridge, we have a long way to go. The players in the city know each other and people intermingle: more happening in the community in general.
