Worcester-based Estate Preservation Law Offices has acquired the trust and estate planning, elder law and probate services of Uxbridge firm Cove & Hogarth.

Joseph Cove, an attorney and the sole owner of Cove & Hogarth, withdrew from his estate and planning practices at the end of August in order to focus on municipal law and land-use planning, according to the announcement of the deal by Estate Preservation Law Offices. Cove & Hogarth was founded in 1932 by Cove's father, Francis Cove Jr.

As part of the deal, Estate Preservation Law Offices is opening a satellite office at the River Glen Office Park at 10 River Road, suite 103, in Uxbridge.

Estate Preservation Law Offices is based at 71 Elm St. in Worcester, and has satellite offices in Braintree, Hyannis and Leominster

It's the second recent acquisition for Estate Preservation Law Offices. Last year, it acquired Princeton-based Law Office of Carrie Dolmat-Connell, an estate planning, elder law, probate and administration, and business law firm, after Dolmat-Connell's death.
