ADP To Acquire Marlborough Firm
Marlborough benefits and compensation services company Workscape Inc. is set to be acquired by payroll giant ADP of Roseland, N.J.
The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2010. Financial terms were not released.
ADP, which provides HR, payroll, tax and benefits services, said the acquisition will expand its presence in the benefits marketplace for large companies. It said that Workscape's client list includes "numerous" Fortune 250 companies.
ADP is a publicly traded company with revenues of nearly $9 billion, while Workscape is privately held.
