Framingham State Opens Marlborough Satellite
Beginning in September, Framingham State University (FSU) will offer evening classes to those interested in earning bachelor's degrees in liberal studies off campus, at the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough.
Assabet Valley was chosen as a satellite location because of its easy access to Interstate-495 and proximity to a population of adults who are pursuing higher education, according to Scott Greenberg, associate vice president of academic affairs and dean of FSU's Graduate and Continuing Education department.
"There is an existing population of thousands of adults attending noncredit classes at Assabet Valley Technical School," Greenberg said. "We believe some may be interested in taking credit courses and completing a college degree."
Classes begin Sept. 5.
