Ameresco Completes $1.2M Ohio School Project

Energy efficiency and renewable energy company Ameresco Inc. of Framingham announced the completion of a $1.2 million project in Northern Ohio.

According to Ameresco, the project with Cloverleaf School District included energy efficient infrastructure upgrades at four facilities and is expected to help the district save more than $102,000 in energy and operational costs annually for the duration of the 15-year contract.

Through the use of energy-efficient technology and management practices, the overall electrical and natural gas use would be reduced in the district. According to Ameresco, conservation measures implemented include occupancy-sensing light switches, lighting upgrades, building automation system upgrades and hot water boiler replacements.
