Career highlights: I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served as an officer in the United States Air Force for five years before attending Boston College Law School. After law school I worked in a Boston-based firm before working at Mirick O'Connell. My practice focuses on labor and employment law, which I find challenging and rewarding as each case is different and presents its own unique set of issues that I assist our clients in resolving.

Community involvement: I am a member of the board of directors of the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce. I am also a member of the board of directors of the Friends of the Pappas Recreation Complex, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for the recreation complex located in Auburn. I also work as a volunteer at various events at North American Martyrs Church in Auburn. In the past, I have coached T-ball and youth soccer in Auburn. I have also coached youth lacrosse for the Worcester Bandits and served as a volunteer coach for the St. John's varsity lacrosse team.

Biggest success: Supporting my family in a career that I enjoy and find rewarding.

Biggest challenge: Managing my time between family and career.

Mentors: I have had a number of mentors in my life, ranging from my parents to coaches and teachers. Currently, Bob Kilroy and Bob Gibbons — partners at Mirick O'Connell — have the greatest influence. I have worked with both closely while at Mirick O'Connell. Both are terrific lawyers and leaders and I strive to follow their example.

Hidden talent: Teaching four- and five-year-olds the proper way to throw a baseball.
