Career highlights: After a career in the travel industry, I returned to Johnson & Wales University to work with hospitality students as a career management educator. The students inspired me so much that I went back to school myself to obtain my MBA in organizational leadership. In my degree program, I was introduced to a human resources management career at Target. Working for Target unleashed my passion for human resources and just after a year and half in my new career, I was offered an opportunity to join Reliant Medical Group.

Community involvement: I have volunteered on a number of committees for various causes and interests throughout the years in the Worcester area and also in Rhode Island. What I value most about my job at Reliant is our commitment to giving back to the community in which we reside to ensure we are good neighbors.

Biggest success: One my biggest career highlights was being chosen to work as a business partner at Reliant. Having only been in the HR profession for a short time and being selected to have such an influential role within the organization has been an honor that I do not take for granted.

Biggest challenge: Learning how to successfully manage my career in conjunction with my personal life. I have not been able to master that skill quite yet. However, with today's technology coupled with a flexible working schedule and a supportive partner, I feel like I am getting closer to obtaining that balance.

Mentors: I have my own personal board of directors, which consists of my family and friends along with past and current coworkers, who help guide me along my career path and offer direct, actionable feedback on my goals.

Hidden talent: I have been singing and dancing since kindergarten. My latest endeavor included a flash mob and the moonwalk to a well-known Michael Jackson song. It is now showing on our corporate intranet site.
