GOOD DEED

The Southborough-based Massachusetts Statewide Towing Association donated $10,338 — proceeds of its annual golf outing — to the Massachusetts branch of the March of Dimes.

Girls Inc. of Worcester received $10,000 from Verizon to support a teen dating violence prevention program for girls.

Tahanto Regional Middle/High School in Boylston donated 1,200 pieces of surplus classroom furniture and equipment to St. George's College in Kingston, Jamaica, via The Recycling Network.

Westborough-based Mark's Moving & Storage donated $1,200 to United Way to aid in purchase of linens and bedding to New York residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
