JAMES LEARY was named chair-elect of United Way of Central Massachusetts; he will take over as board chair in July. He is vice chancellor for community and government relations at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Leary has served three terms as a state representative, as chief of staff and counsel to the lieutenant governor, and as a senior advisor to the governor. He has worked as a lawyer in private practice and as an assistant district attorney. Leary is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester; and earned his law degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He lives in Worcester.

JASON TESSITORE was hired as an assistant project manager and building information modeling coordinator at J.M. Coull Inc. of Maynard. He most recently worked at Cutler Associates, and before that, at The Codman Co. Tessitore holds a bachelor's degree from Boston Architectural College.

KIMBERLEY MAUL was hired by Consigli Construction Co. of Milford as a manager of its Lean Construction practices. She formerly worked as a journeyman sheet metal worker and as a lean coordinator. Maul has a bachelor's in construction management from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. She also holds a master's in integrated design and construction from Auburn University, in Auburn, Ala.

DR. GONZALO PAZ-SOLDAN and DR. VICTOR LAZARON were hired by Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group. Paz-Soldan is chair of pediatrics. He will also practice at Reliant's facility on Plantation Street in Worcester. Paz-Soldan most recently served as medical director at Arlington Pediatric Center in Arlington, Va. He earned his medical degree from Yale University in New Haven, Conn., and completed his internship and residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington. Lazaron was hired as a general surgeon and will practice at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He earned his medical degree from UMass Medical School in Worcester, then completed his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

ROBERT F. DEZIEL JR. was hired by the Worcester-based Vallaro Group, which provides management and services to court reporting firms, as executive director. He's a graduate of Bentley University in Waltham.

PETER DAMORE was promoted to vice president of sales for Ross Mortgage Co. of Westborough. He and his son, Fred, previously owned a mortgage company that Ross acquired. DaMore has been in the mortgage industry for more than 30 years, and originating for Ross for more than five years.

NORA MAROULIS was named director of philanthropy at the Worcester Art Museum. She formerly served as deputy director for external affairs at deCordova Sculpture Park in Lincoln. Before that, she worked with the Archives of American Art; the Smithsonian Institution; the University of Massachusetts in Amherst; and the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.

TINA ALLEN, PAM KOZLIK, KATHLEEN HIGGINS and ANDREW LEIGHTON have all been promoted by North Brookfield Savings Bank (NBSB). Allen was promoted to Belchertown branch manager; Kozlik was named assistant branch manager in Belchertown; Higgins was promoted to assistant branch manager in Palmer; and Leighton was promoted to assistant branch manager in West Brookfield. Allen was formerly the supervisor at the North Brookfield Gilbert Street branch. She lives in West Brookfield. Kozlik, a resident of Ware, has a bachelor's in business administration from Western New England University in Springfield. Higgins, of Brimfield, previously worked as an NBSB supervisor and as a financial service representative at Southbridge Savings Bank. Leighton, most recently a supervisor at NBSB, lives in Belchertown.

SUSAN DAVAN and DAWN FERRY were hired by Fitchburg-based IC Federal Credit Union. Davan was hired as assistant vice president of mortgage lending. She recently held the mortgage operations manager position at Leominster Credit Union and was a loan officer at GFA Federal Credit Union. Ferry was hired as senior outside sales and mortgage specialist. She previously worked at Homeward Funding LLC/Owen Financial Services and GFA Federal Credit Union.

DR. SARIKA AGGARWAL was appointed executive vice president and chief medical officer at Fallon Community Health Plan in Worcester. Aggarwal was previously medical director in the office of clinical integration at UMass Memorial Health Care and an assistant professor of medicine at UMass Medical School in Worcester. She earned her medical degree at Bombay University, India, and completed her residency at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Aggarwal lives in Northborough.

CINDY CLARK and MAUREEN WHITE were promoted and DAN WELTON rehired at Southbridge-based Savers Bank. Clark was promoted to branch manager in Charlton; she was most recently assistant branch manager in the Southbridge office. White was named assistant branch manager in Grafton. She was assistant branch manager in Uxbridge for the past six years. Welton was rehired as assistant branch manager in Uxbridge. He had left several years ago to start a family business after having worked as branch manager in Charlton.
