The building housing a BJ’s Wholesale Club store in Framingham has been sold for $26.5 million.

The property, located at 26 Whittier St., adjacent to Old Connecticut Path and routes 30 and 126, was sold to Inland Real Estate Acquisitions Inc. by Whittier Holdings, according to a statement from the Boston office of Cushman & Wakefield, which represented Whittier.

The building’s area measures 114,000 square feet. It’s located within a heavy retail district, less than a mile from Shoppers’ World and the Natick Mall, as well as the smaller Framingham Mall on Route 30, which is anchored by a Target store.

“The BJ’s Wholesale Club in Framingham is strategically located in one of the area’s hottest retail markets,” said Cushman & Wakefield Executive Vice President Geoffrey Millerd. “The property is situated in the Northeast’s largest concentration of premier retail space, the immediate trade-area features nearly 7.2 million square feet of premium space.”
