Southborough Office Park slated for upgrades after $16M sale

Southborough Office Park on Turnpike Road has been sold for approximately $16 million and the new owner is planning to upgrade and reposition a portion of it for redevelopment, according to Transwestern|RBJ, the leasing agent.

Curo Enterprises bought the office park, located at 118 and 120 Turnpike Road, as a two-building portfolio from separate sellers, according to Transwestern|RBJ.

HP Autonomy, a subsidiary of HP, fully occupies 120 Turnpike Road and leases more than 60 percent of 118 Turnpike Road. Curo plans to renovate the lobby, common areas, restrooms and building systems at 118 Turnpike Road in order to attract new tenants. There is just shy of 20,000 square feet of office space available for leasing there, according to Transwestern|RBJ.

“Southborough Office Park has a tremendous location in the Interstate-495 West market,” said John Lashar, partner at Transwestern|RBJ. “Having a single owner for the two buildings…brings a level of stability and focus to the office park that will boost its appeal to a wide range of tenants.”
