Local accounting firms to merge
In a move to broaden its reach into the non-profit sector, certified professional accountant Robert C. Alario of Leominster has announced a merger with Worcester-based accounting firm P.L. Jones & Associates.
The new combined entity will maintain offices in Leominster and Worcester.
P.L. Jones was founded in 1996 by Patricia L. Jones and is located in the Webb House in Worcester. Robert C. Alario’s practice was founded in 1954.
“With this merger, we now have a greater diversity and knowledge in the not-for-profit arena, which will allow us to more efficiently and effectively audit our not-for-profit clients, as well as add value with our personalized advisory services,” Karen Spinelli, Alario vice president,. in a statement.
