Masonic Health Systems names new CEO

Masonic Health Systems of Charlton has named Tameryn Campbell its president and CEO after the resignation of David Turner, who had held the position for 15 years, the company said.

Turner resigned July 17, prior to completion of a review of operations and finances by Boston-based FTI consulting, which began in May.

Campbell, who has been at the helm of Masonic since Aug. 4, has worked for 20 years in senior living and aging services, according to Masonic.

“MHS currently remains financially secure through its Masonic Education & Charity Trust and the board of directors is dedicated to ensuring MHS’ charitable mission,” said Patrick McShane, vice president of corporate communications, in an emailed statement. “[T]he organization is positioned properly to handle the many facets of healthcare that challenge us as individuals, as a provider of healthcare services, and as an organization.”

Most of Masonic’s services are provided in Charton. It also has a facility in Northampton.
