2 business properties sold in Hudson

Two business properties in Hudson, including a downtown storefront, have been sold, according to a brokerage involved in both deals.

An industrial building at 503 River Rd., just west of Interstate 495, was sold to Consolidated Utilities Corp. for $775,000, according to O’Brien Commercial Properties, which represented the seller, Big Daddy Realty Trust. The sale consists of a 13,696-square-foot industrial building and a separate, free-standing structure.

The other transaction involved the storefront at 49-57 Main St. that housed a Salvation Army store that, according to published reports, closed last year. The property, which measures about 14,000 square feet, was sold to Petros Muratoglu and Apostolia Bougaidou for $265,000, according to a statement from O’Brien, which said the new owners plan to open a doughnut shop in part of the space and lease out the rest. The seller was C and G Realty Trust.
