Training Associates names Maria Melfa CEO
The Training Associates (TTA) of Westborough will remain in the family, with Maria Melfa being named the new CEO, succeeding her father, Vic Melfa.
Mr. Melfa will remain with TTA in the role of board chairman, the company announced Wednesday.
President of TTA since 2007, Maria Melfa has been driving day-to-day functions including sales, marketing, accounting, operations and recruiting.
“This is an exciting time for our business. We have a dedicated and knowledgeable team that works tirelessly to provide our clients with training solutions that propel their business,” she said in the company statement.
“I am thrilled to see Maria move to the CEO role,” Vic Melfa said. “Maria and I started the company twenty-one years ago and with her in-depth experience as president and in all parts of our company, she is more than qualified for this position.”
