DAVID YEE was promoted to vice president at Framingham-based MutualOne Bank. He will serve as the bank's BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and security officer. Yee came to MutualOne in 2013 from Mercantile Bank & Trust Co., now part of Commerce Bank, where he served as compliance officer and deposit operations manager.
JOHN T. LUND was hired as senior vice president and revenue officer at SpencerBANK. He began his banking career in 1993 with the FDIC in Hartford, where he served for almost 15 years as a risk management examiner. Lund then joined the former Rockville Bank (now United Bancorp) in Central Connecticut as chief financial officer. He was promoted to executive vice president in 2011. Lund is a graduate of Northeastern University.
LAURIE R. CORMIER of South Grafton was hired as a major gifts officer, joining the advancement team at Becker College. She previously served as a strategic development officer for the Suffolk University College of Arts & Sciences. Before Suffolk, she worked for the Boston Harbor Island Alliance for 12 years in a variety of roles. Cormier holds a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology from Suffolk.
THOMAS L. ROSE was hired by Commerce Bank as senior vice president and managing director of commercial lending. He was most recently senior vice president and senior client manager at Bank of America. Rose earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Boston College.
MARK WILHELM was named corporate director of sustainability and climate neutrality initiatives at Ameresco, an energy efficiency and renewable energy company in Framingham. He came to the company in 2013 as director of climate neutrality initiatives. Before Ameresco, he was a founding principal of Green Ideas Inc., a green building consulting firm. Wilhelm has also held leadership roles with the Electric Power Research Institute and Arizona Public Service. He is a graduate of UMass Amherst, with a bachelor's degree in economics. He also earned a master's in environmental planning from Arizona State University.
WILLIAM KEYLES and PATRICK BEAN were hired by North Middlesex Savings Bank, which has offices in Central Massachusetts. Keyles is vice president of learning and development. He previously worked at Clinton Savings and Middlesex Savings banks. Keyles, of Marlborough, holds a bachelor's degree from State University of New York at New Paltz and a master's in education from UMass Boston. Bean was hired as a mortgage originator and business development representative. The UMass Lowell graduate previously held the same position at Rollstone Bank & Trust.
AUDREY BAKER and GREGORY LIVINGSTONE were hired by Bryley Systems, a Hudson-based managed IT services provider. Baker is a sales administrator and Livingstone a network engineer. Baker has over 20 years of sales administration and management experience. She holds a bachelor's degree from Worcester State University, in economics. Livingstone was a network specialist with Intel Corp., from 1998 to 2014. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, also from Worcester State.
JOHN DAVIS was chosen chair of the Nichols College Board of Trustees. He has served on the board of the Dudley school since 1981 and succeeds John H. McClutchy Jr., who will serve another year as past chair. Davis is a managing member of Ventry Industries LLC. He previously served as chairman and CEO at the American Saw & Manufacturing Co. in East Longmeadow. Davis has received honorary degrees from colleges around Massachusetts, including Nichols.
DRS. PETER MURPHY, DANIEL CARLUCCI and MIGUEL ANTELO were hired by Reliant Medical Group. Murphy will work in urgent care at the Plantation Street location in Worcester in the Same-Day Services Department. He earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Carlucci is chair of medical specialties and will continue to see patients at the group's Southborough location. He was previously chief of cardiology and president of the medical staff at Marlborough Hospital. Carlucci received his medical degree from UMass Medical School. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, and is Level-2 Nuclear Cardiology Certified. Antelo joined the organization's division of urology at Saint Vincent Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Urology.
ANNE-MARIE KELLEY was promoted to vice president of finance and human resources by Murray Brothers Construction Inc., of Leominster. She has been with the firm for nine years, working her way up from intern to her most recent position, controller. Kelley holds a bachelor's degree in industrial technology and an MBA, both from Fitchburg State University.
JEFFREY OBERG was hired as a registered representative and financial advisor for Girard Financial Group of Millbury. He previously worked for New York Life in Waltham. Oberg, of North Grafton, earned a bachelor's degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C.; a master's from the University of Tennessee; and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
MARK PELLETIER and JODI LUNDIN-EMMONS were both hired by Maugel Architects of Harvard. Pelletier, senior director of architecture, previously worked for such firms as Margulies Perruzzi Architects and CDM Smith. Lundin-Emmons is a senior interior designer. She formerly did design work for ADD Inc., JMZ Architects & Planners and Cube 3 Studio.
MIKE WISNIEWSKI joined Northborough-based medical mobile services firm Skyscape Medpresso Inc., as vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining Skyscape, Wisniewski was senior director of licensing, rights, pharmaceutical sales and permissions at Wolters Kluwer Health.
RYAN ATIENZA has been named vice president of sales at Denville Scientific, a subsidiary of Harvard Bioscience Inc., of Holliston. This is a new role at Denville, which Harvard Bio acquired in 2009. Atienza has served in an executive role with American Express– Healthcare Solutions and in a director-level role with Essilor of America.
BRUCE E. BURSTEN, a distinguished professor of chemistry and former dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee, has been named the new provost at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He will begin his new role June 1 and will be responsible for WPI's research and academic programs. Bursten has more than 160 peer-reviewed publications, and is co-author of one of the leading textbooks in general chemistry.
