Medical firm buys Worcester building from church

Lincoln Medical or Worcester has purchased an office building at 101 Pleasant St. in Worcester, from Liberty Assembly of God, based in Shrewsbury.

A statement Friday from Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates of Worcester, which represented the church, said the new owners plan to transform the building —where many dentists have had offices over the years – with cosmetic and other upgrades. Painting, architectural lighting, and other enhancements are planned for the exterior. Inside, the statement said, improvements have already begun and include the renovation of suites, restrooms, and professionally-decorated common areas and hallways.

The owners also plan to install a large architectural street sign that will provide tenants with significant visibility at the Pleasant/Linden intersection, the statement said. “They fully intend to make this building a sparkling gem of the downtown area.”

The building was sold March 2. The 14,000-square-foot office building rests on about 21,000 square feet of land.
