Hudson's Bryley Systems buys part of Northborough IT firm

Managed technology services provider Bryley Systems of Hudson has added to its client base after acquiring a portion of Northborough-based Baesis Inc., the companies announced.

Baesis focuses on the implementation of enterprise resource planning, or ERP, software systems, for small and mid-sized businesses. It divested its managed IT services practice to focus on growing its ERP business, the companies said in a statement.

Baesis President Frank Leonard said his company’s ERP business has seen annual growth of 60 percent over the last three years, which he called “spectacular.” About 80 percent of that growth has been organic, and Baesis acquired a Kansas City company, allowing it to expand into that region of the United States, he added.

Leonard said he expects Baesis to make other strategic acquisitions over the next several months.

The deal gives Bryley 24 additional managed services clients.

The price of the deal was not disclosed.
