Consigli Construction Co. Inc., with offices in Milford, won two Best Project Awards from Engineering News-Record.The awards were granted for Consigli's ability to overcome design andå structural complexities in building the Trailhead House at the Summer Star Wildlife Sanctuary in Boylston and to restore The Parish of All Saints, Ashmont in Dorchester.

VNA Care Network, with locations in Worcester, Leominster and Southborough, was named a HomeCare Elite 2015 Top Agency by OCS HomeCare, placing the organization in the top-performing 25 percent of home care agencies in the nation. Elite status is determined through an analysis of quality outcomes, best-practice implementation, patient experience and more.

Fitchburg State University is again bound for the American Collegiate Moot Court National Tournament, after a strong showing at the regional competition against 53 other teams last month. The national tournament is in January at California State University at Long Beach.

The owner of Holden restaurant Thai Island Inc., Olga Kwasniewski, won two Stevie awards in the 12th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business competition. Kwasniewski was recognized as a silver winner in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Consumer Services – 10 or Less Employees category and as a bronze winner in the Women-Run Workplace of the Year for 10 or Less Employees category. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 executives across the globe who participated in the judging process this year.

Westborough training company The Training Associates was named a Top 20 IT Training Company for the fourth consecutive year by TrainingIndustry.com. Companies were judged in different areas such as growth potential, innovation in IT training and delivery method options.

Dentists Jeffrey A. Bellanti, with an office in Bolton, and Sanjay Reddy Bommu in Gardner; along with Yong-Han Koo, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Wayland, were accepted into the Massachusetts Dental Society Leadership Institute. They were among 12 in the state accepted into the two-year program.

Worcester's Clark University team captured third place in the 2015 Boston Regional College Fed Challenge, held November 6 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The team members included Jorge Galvez Rodriguez, Rahul Dutt, associate professor of economics David Cuberes, Doga Bilgin, Roei Shimony and assistant professor of economics Chang Hong.
