The latest MetroWest location for Chick-fil-A will open Feb. 18 and hire 110 full and part-time employees, according to the company.

The new location will join a pre-existing Westborough location as the company continues its expansion into New England. The restaurant is located at 1 Worcester Road between routes 9 and 30, near the Shoppers World plaza.

The new store is part of a New England expansion by the College Park, Ga.-based company. The company opened its inaugural Central Massachusetts store in Westborough in 2015 and had plans to open 6 to 10 stores in New England in 2016. The Framingham store is in the process of hiring 110 full and part-time employees.

The LEED-certified design at the Framingham store features reclaimed wood, subway tiles, light fixtures made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles and peach baskets as well as water and energy conservation. The restaurant will also recycle cooking oil and foam cups. The location will feature a double drive through with a 126 person dining room.

The restaurant will be operated by Mark Parker, a former managing director at FedEx where he oversaw 21 offices and their 2,100 employees. According to Chick-fil-A, 24,000 applications are received each year for only 100 franchise opportunities.
