Irish firm launches Framingham construction division

Irish architecture and engineering firm DPS announced Tuesday it has launched a construction management division out of its office in Framingham.
DPS, which was founded in 1974 in Cork, Ireland, opened a Framingham office in 2011 to serve pharmaceutical and biotech clients throughout New England. The new construction management division will primarily serve this life sciences industry.
The new division gives DPS the ability to provide the full range of engineering, procurement, construction manage and validation to its clients, including design-build projects. The company has a construction management division based in Ireland as well.
In the five years since DPS opened its Framingham office, it has grown from seven employees to 129. Its New England life sciences clients include Sanofi Genzyme, AbbVie, Shire, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Avecia Nitto Denko and Seres Therapeutics.
