Solect expands into solar maintenance

Solect Energy has expanded its portfolio into maintaining solar arrays that it did not install.

Solect Energy announced this week that it has expanded its services beyond installation and into solar array operation and management services.
While the Hopkinton company has always maintained and managed its own solar installations, it has expanded to a new Solar Service program offering maintenance for any commercial-scale solar array in New England. The new program will do everything from repairing equipment to maintaining landscaping to ensure optimal energy generation, according to a release put out by Solect.
The new program, that began a slow roll out in January, now has 22 solar installations that it manages and maintains. These include the 625 kW solar field in Westborough.
