DCU Center to host advanced manufacturing summit

The commonwealth of Massachusetts and MassDevelopment are co-hosting an advanced manufacturing summit next week at Worcester’s DCU Center.

The event will take place next Tuesday, Sept. 27, and will include a speech from Jay Ash, the commonwealth’s secretary of housing and economic development, as well as several workshops. Sustainability, supply-chain strategies, advanced technologies and best business practices will all be either discussed or workshopped at the event.

It costs $75 to attend, and participants can choose one workshop each out of three different sessions. More information can be found on the event’s website: mfgsummitma.com. The Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Quinsigamond Community College, Associated Industries of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, Artaic Innovative Mosaic of Boston and GBMP of Newton are all co-sponsors.
