Matthew Morris has joined Worcester’s Bowditch & Dewey as a partner in the law firm’s Estate, Financial & Tax Planning Practice.

According to the firm, Morris concentrates his practice in corporate and individual income tax controversies, probate administration and trust and estate tax-related matters. In the past, he has worked with foreign nationals, dual nationals and expatriate U.S. citizens seeking compliance with their federal income tax responsibilities. He also assists business and individual “non-filers” to come into compliance with their federal and state income tax responsibilities.

Managing Partner James D. Hanrahan said this breadth of experience will help strengthen the firm’s tax and tax controversy practices.

Before joining Bowditch, Mr. Morris was a partner with Kerstein, Coren & Lichtenstein, LLP in Wellesley. Morris will work in the firm’s Framingham office.

Bowditch & Dewey is a midsize law firm with more than 60 lawyers across its locations in Boston, Framingham and Worcester.
