Staples to be closed on Thanksgiving

Staples is encouraging people to shop online with the company on Thanksgiving.

With fall settling in, Framingham’s Staples has already announced that its stores will not be open on Thanksgiving day, instead opting to push potential customers online.
The decision is in line with what Staples decided last year around this time, saying that Thanksgiving is a day for family. However, the office supply store is fully embracing Black Friday with 6 a.m. openings at the majority of its stores, where state laws allow.
The push of holiday deals will begin early in November for the Christmas holiday shopping season.
