SeaChange secures Quebec cable TV deal

Acton media company SeaChange International, Inc. on Monday announced it finalized a deal with Canada’s Cogeco Connexion to stream on-demand television service on SeaChange’s platform.
Cogeco, the second-largest cable TV provide in Quebec and Ontario, will provide its Cogeco On Demand services for its customers through the SeaChange Adrenalin multiscreen platform, which allows users to access the content through smart TVs and Google, Apple and Android mobile devices.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
SeaChange also sold Cogeco its AssetFlow content management software, which automatically rotates content through its life cycle on the platform.
