Global engineering group DPS, which has an office in Framingham, will provide architectural, engineering and project management services for a Norwood biotech’s new manufacturing facility.

DPS said this month that it will provide construction management oversight, commissioning, qualification and validation and procurement services for Moderna Therapeutics’ new $110 million, 200,000 square foot GMP mRNA clinical manufacturing facility, where the Norwood company will manufacture clinical grade mRNA therapies and vaccines for studies, including clinical trials. Its U.S. architectural partner, Boston-based TRIA, will design clinical labs, offices, employee facilities and a conference center.

Construction was scheduled to begin this month and will be completed by early 2018, according to DPS.
