Sturbridge nonprofit picks new human services VP

Venture Community Service has named a new vice president to oversee operation of 44 sites throughout Massachusetts.

The Sturbridge-based human services provider on Thursday announced Pam Sampson was named vice president of community and affiliate services. In this role, Sampson will be responsible for division-wide operations and service delivery oversight for 44 community residences as well as shared living, adult foster care, in-home supports and affiliate services. She will be the primary business liaison to all outside stakeholders and will ensure the execution of strategic initiatives for the department.

Sampson most recently served as the Regional Director for The Kennedy-Donovan Center’s New Bedford adult programs, according to Venture.

Venture has more than 700 employees and operates residential services, day programs, supported employment, transportation, autism supports, adult foster care, and shared living.
