Sandy L. Dunn: Standard Bearer

Sandy L. Dunn, General manager at the SMG/DCU Center. Age: 58, Hometown: Punxsutawney, PA, Years working in Central Mass.: 33

The DCU Center plays a larger than life role in the health of downtown Worcester. Any given day, there are monster trucks flying in the air or a regional business conference. Downtown is full of people walking, parking and dining because of Dunn, who keeps the operation running smoothly.

Dunn's help with the addition of a new minor league hockey team, retail store and restaurant incubator have extended the center's reach beyond events.
