Holy Cross, Clark ranked among best value colleges

WBJ File John Chetro-Szivos, associate dean of professional studies at Clark University, is working to bring more non-traditional students to the school.

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has ranked The College of the Holy Cross and Clark University in Worcester as two of the best U.S. college values of 2017, according to an announcement Thursday.

Kiplinger ranks colleges on their ability to provide high-quality academics at a reasonable cost, in addition to looking at admission rates, faculty-student ratio, four-year graduation rate, financial aid and average debt at graduation.

Holy Cross ranked 15 among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the nation and 27 out of 300 overall.

Clark ranked 29 among 100 private universities and 96 out of 300 overall.
