WBJ to honor Innovators of the Year
As part of Worcester Business Journal’s expansion of its Business Leaders of the Year awards, the publication will honor the top innovators of the past year, recognizing those who hatch and develop ideas for public and private organizations.
The Public and Private Innovators of the Year awards come in addition to the new WBJ Hall of Fame for career achievements, which was announced earlier this week. The Business Leaders of the Year awards will still honor the large business, small business and nonprofit leaders of 2016, along with the Corporate Citizen of the Year.
The Innovators of the Year awards are designed to honor people who might not be the top leader in their organizations, but still contributed significantly by developing a breakthrough product, strategy or idea that has proven useful in the organization’s operations in the last year.
You can submit nominations for the award here. The deadline is Jan. 20.
