Jericho Road announces new leadership

Jericho Road Worcester, an independent nonprofit organization that provides volunteers with professional skills to support local nonprofits, has appointed Katherine Robertson as director, according to a statement last week.

Roberston is charged with overseeing the organization, forging partnerships and spearheading its Leadership Connection program, Jericho Road said. A consultant to nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts and New York, Robertson has served as an administrator and grant writer for organizations throughout the U.S. A former reporter and political consultant, Robertson oversaw communications for the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester before launching her own consulting business in 2010.

Meanwhile, Pam Guild was named program manager for Jericho Road. The former interim director of the organization, Guild is responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, matching them with nonprofit projects, and assessing outcomes. She previously worked as a project manager at various companies.

Jericho Road Worcester became an independent nonprofit in 2015 after operating as an affiliate of the Jericho Road Project based in Concord since 2009.
