Plastics co. buys industrial plant for $5.2M

F&M Tool & Plastics of Leominster purchased this building near its headquarters for $5,150,000.

A Leominster plastics company has purchased a 227,422-square-foot industrial building next to its headquarters for $5.15 million, according to an announcement Monday from the broker of the sale.

The company, F&M Tool & Plastics, purchased the building through Lexington commercial real estate firm Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International.

A spokesperson for Stubblebine said F&M purchased the location due to its proximity to Route 2 and I-90 as well as to F&M's headquarters.

F&M's plans for the new space were not disclosed.

Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International facilitated the lease and sale of large industrial and commercial properties in New England.
