Upscale Princeton restaurant moving to Beechwood Hotel

File photo The Beechwood Hotel has been rated among the state's best by AAA.

Sonoma Restaurant in Princeton will move to Worcester this fall in the current CERES space at the Beechwood Hotel.

The hotel announced Friday that Sonoma owner Bill Brady will move his farm-to-table restaurant to the Beechwood in September. Since opening in Princeton in 1996, Sonoma and its owner have been recognized by the travel magazine Best Places to Eat in New England, and by several local publications. Brady has been a guest on Boston TV’s Phantom Gourmet and on NECN’s TV Diner, and received the prestigious Distinguished Restaurants of North America Award.

Sayed Saleh, asset manager and managing director of the Beechwood, said bringing Sonoma in will elevate the level of service at the hotel.

"We have always offered farm-to-table, and Sonoma has always offered the same. We believe in providing the best in concierge service, and Sonoma is known for its outstanding attention to fine service,” said Saleh. “Our values are in alignment and our commitment to exceptional cuisine and service are unwavering – it’s a perfect marriage.”

Sonoma will transition out of Princeton over the summer and open at the Beechwood in the fall.
